At Cosina de Chencha, the fact that you can see us, talk to us, and know where your money goes matters. We're an Oaxacan kitchen on Suydam Street in New Brunswick, and everything Chencha makes comes from traditional recipes you won't find at any other restaurant in New Jersey. Our mole is the dish that keeps people coming back year after year, our tlayudas are built the way they're made on the Oaxacan coast, and our menu runs as deep as the cuisine itself... picaditas, tetelas, huitlacoche quesadillas, barbacoa de chivo, squash blossom empanadas, and dishes like mole de pescado seco that are nearly impossible to find this far from home. As Guillermo A. shared, "If you want to experience the authentic flavors of the Oaxacan coast in Mexico, this place delivers 100 percent. This is number one in my opinion." Our portions are generous because that's how Chencha has always cooked, and our kitchen has been feeding this neighborhood with real Oaxacan flavor for years.
